Tata Nexon
Tata’s Nexon compact SUV has seen the highest sales in the month of June. Tata sold a total of 14,295 units of the Nexon, up from 8,033 units in June last year. In this way, sales of Nexon have seen a growth of 78 percent on a year-on-year basis. Apart from this, Nexon is at the fourth position in the list of the top-5 base selling cars last month.
The Nexon is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine that generates 120PS of power at 5,500rpm and 170Nm of torque at 1,750 to 4,000rpm.
In the features list, you get to see a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, single-pane sunroof, Harman sound system, digital driver display, automatic climate control, and drive modes.
Tata Punch
The second best-selling compact SUV in India last month was also Tata’s. Tata Punch sold a total of 10,414 units in June 2022. At the same time, last month this figure was 10,241 units.
Talking about the powertrain of the Tata Punch, it is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2 liter, 3-cylinder, Revotron petrol engine that generates 85hp power at 6,000rpm and 113Nm peak torque at 3,300rpm.
The Punch’s cabin is equipped with the latest features and gets a dual-tone black and white dashboard, automatic climate control, a multifunctional flat-bottom steering wheel with cruise control, and an engine start-stop button.
Hyundai Venue
Hyundai Venue is the third highest-selling compact SUV in the month of June. The venue has gained 112 percent in the month of June. In this way, Hyundai sold 10,321 units of Venue last month, while it sold 4,865 units last month. Notably, the Venue lags behind the Tata Punch by just 93 units.
In the Hyundai Venue, you get a 1.2-liter petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The petrol engine of Venue generates 83hp power and 114Nm maximum torque. At the same time, its diesel engine generates power of 100hp and torque of 240Nm. The third one is the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which can generate 120hp power and 172Nm torque.
